Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus and following the recent government guidelines, I have decided to temporarily close Splat n Splodge.
I have chosen to do this to support social distancing which can help prevent the spread of the virus.
Obviously, this is a very distressing and uncertain time for us all and I want to thank all my customers for their continued support.
I am hoping to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
Once again thank you.
Stay home & stay safe.
Pottery painting is a relaxing and therapeutic activity for all ages and abilities.
The pottery is made from a white earthenware clay that is fired to a low temperature, called bisque. Firing it at a low temperature, means the pottery stays porous, so it will absorb the paints really well. The paints that we use are called under-glazes and are very washable and non toxic, so safe for little hands.
Once the pottery has been painted, it needs to be glazed and fired and will ready for collection in about a week to 10 days (this may vary during peak times).
The glaze used is suitable for food & drink items such as cups, bowls and plates.
